Maze of Gains (MoG) is an onchain turn-based roguelike dungeon crawler, playable on desktop and mobile, where every run has real stakes. Compete for a shared weekly prize pool, chase bounties, and fight for the Throne.

Find loot, make smart moves, and earn your share.

To play Maze of Gains, you'll need an Abstract Global Wallet (AGW).

The Basics

When you log in, you'll arrive in the MoG Lobby: a shared multiplayer hub across MoG and OCH World where you can chat with other players, show off your skins, and access every game feature.

1. Select a mode

Arcade mode is MoG's main game mode. Collect Treasure to compete for a slice of the weekly pool and hunt for rare instant rewards, all paid out in VALOR.

Each mode requires its own type of key. Arcade Mode runs on Arcade Keys, which cost 1 USD and can be purchased with USDC or ETH from the shop.

💡 See additional modes: here

2. Use your keys

1 key starts a run. Using more keys multiplies your Treasure yield and boosts your chances at hitting instant rewards.

More keys = More Loot

How many keys you run is up to your skill and risk tolerance.

3. Prizepool Rewards

image.png

MoG's primary reward is VALOR, an in-game currency pegged to USDC that can be swapped back to USDC at any time.

When you spend keys on an Arcade run, a portion of each key's cost feeds three distinct prize pools:

4. Run the Maze

Each run takes place in a procedurally generated maze spanning 10 floors across distinct biomes.

5. Loot, loot, loot

Your goal is to collect as much loot as you can on your ascent. Loot gets richer the deeper you go, but enemies get stronger too. Smash breakables, clear rooms, wager your Treasure, and more as you uncover the secrets of the maze.

Make your moves wisely. Balance the loot you chase against your ability to survive, and make it count all the way to the end.

6. End Your Run

There are two ways a run ends:

Either way, all the loot you earned is yours to keep.

Reaching Dragma is the ultimate goal: beat the final boss to end your run on top. However your run ends, you're in the running for the Throne, MoG's ultimate prize.

7. That’s MoG

Loot the maze, emerge a champion, then run it back again. For details on specific game mechanics, see: Mechanics

Weekly Cycles

Every weekly cycle in MoG begins and ends on Thursday at 4:00 PM UTC. Whenever you see "end of week" or "weekly reset" anywhere in MoG, it refers to this time.

At the weekly reset, the following are finalized:

Plan your runs around the cycle: anything not locked in before Thursday 4:00 PM UTC is settled automatically when the week turns over.
